국립국악원 '국악아티스트랩' 사업은 

전통예술인들을 지원하고, 전통예술 기반의 온라인 콘텐츠 제작활동을

진작하기 위해 마련된 사업입니다.

권역별 선발을 통해 전통예술의 영역을 확장하고, 가능성을 탐색하며

온라인 공간에서의 감각적이고, 창조적인 활동을 위한 

영상 교육, 제작을 지원하는 '국악 크리에이터 양성' 프로젝트입니다.

The “Gugak Artist Lab” initiative, launched by the National Gugak Center, aims to support traditional artists and encourage the development of online content rooted in traditional arts.

This endeavor focuses on fostering “Gugak Creators” by offering support in video education and production. It seeks to enrich and broaden the scope of traditional arts, exploring new possibilities and expanding its reach through regional programs and the inclusion of international participants. The project emphasizes creative and sensory experiences in the digital realm, paving the way for innovative expressions of traditional art forms.

[작품소개/ Introduction]

어떤 일에 본격적으로 나아간다고 할 때 우리는 '본궤도에 오르다'라는 표현을 쓴다. 삐리뿌가 더 나아가 펼쳐진 세상에서 음악을 하자는 마음으로 앞으로의 대한 기대, 염원, 소망 등을 담아낸 것이 이 곡 '본궤도'이다. 기존에는 궁중음악이나 제례 음악처럼 의식에 사용되는 전통 선율을 기반으로 했다면 '본궤도'에서는 당시 평민들이 즐기던 음악인 민속악 중 서도풍류와 태평소 시나위의 가락을 차용하였다. 정형화되지 않은, 조금 더 날것에 가까운 음악을 선보인다. 

When we see substantial progress being made, we often say we're “on the right track.”  This phrase perfectly captures the essence of our band Ppilippu's latest song, “On the Right Track.” It's a reflection of our aspirations, dreams, and hopes as we venture into the expansive world of music. In the past, our compositions were heavily influenced by traditional court and ceremonial music. But with “On the Right Track,” we've embraced the rhythms and melodies of folk music beloved by the common people, particularly drawing from Seodo Folk Music and Taepyeongso Sinawi. This piece showcases a more raw and unpolished style of music, bringing us closer to the authentic essence of our musical roots.
