국립국악원 '국악아티스트랩' 사업은 

전통예술인들을 지원하고, 전통예술 기반의 온라인 콘텐츠 제작활동을

진작하기 위해 마련된 사업입니다.

권역별 선발을 통해 전통예술의 영역을 확장하고, 가능성을 탐색하며

온라인 공간에서의 감각적이고, 창조적인 활동을 위한 

영상 교육, 제작을 지원하는 '국악 크리에이터 양성' 프로젝트입니다.

The “Gugak Artist Lab” initiative, launched by the National Gugak Center, aims to support traditional artists and encourage the development of online content rooted in traditional arts.

This endeavor focuses on fostering “Gugak Creators” by offering support in video education and production. It seeks to enrich and broaden the scope of traditional arts, exploring new possibilities and expanding its reach through regional programs and the inclusion of international participants. The project emphasizes creative and sensory experiences in the digital realm, paving the way for innovative expressions of traditional art forms.

[작품소개/ Introduction]

〈여백의 교집합〉은 사람과 사람을 이어주는 것, 나아가 한 사회를 지탱하는 ‘공통된 마음’에 관한 이야기이다. 수 많은 관념과 욕망으로 가득 차있는 개인에서 벗어나 ‘우리’로 연결되는 공동체로 도달하기 위한 여백으로의 회귀과정을 보여준다. 국가 무형문화재 제 92호 태평무의 춤사위와 경기도당굿장단과 가락을 재해석 하여, 비워져 있을 때 명확해지는 공통된 믿음과 마음을 동양화적 이미지인 ‘연꽃’으로 그려낸다. 

"Intersection of Blank Space" narrates the tale of the “community spirit” that connects individuals and upholds society. It depicts the transition from individuals brimming with numerous ideas and desires to a community united as “us,” symbolizing a return to the blank space. This piece reinterprets the dance movements of the National Intangible Cultural Property No. 92, Taepyeongmu, and the rhythms and melodies of Gyeonggi-do Danggut. It captures the distinct shared beliefs and feelings that become apparent in emptiness, represented through the Eastern symbol of the lotus.
