Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

르 꼬르뷔지에와 함께 20세기 근대 건축의 선구자로 불리는 루드비히 미스 반 데어 로에. 나치 정권 때 고향인 독일을 떠나 미국에서 왕성한 활동을 이어갔습니다. 미국으로 떠나기 전 독일에서 작업한 마지막 작품, 렘케 부부의 집은 현재 미스 반 데어 로에 하우스가 되어 작은 갤러리로 운영되고 있습니다. 

Alongside Le Corbusier, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, who is regarded as one of the pioneers of modern architecture of the 20th century, left his hometown Germany and continued his vigorous activities in the United States. The Lemke House, which is his last work in Germany before his emigration to the United States, is now a house for Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and is open as a small gallery.
