전통예술인들을 지원하고, 전통예술 기반의 온라인 콘텐츠 제작활동을

진작하기 위해 마련된 사업입니다.

권역별 선발을 통해 전통예술의 영역을 확장하고, 가능성을 탐색하며

온라인 공간에서의 감각적이고, 창조적인 활동을 위한 

영상 교육, 제작을 지원하는 '국악 크리에이터 양성' 프로젝트입니다.

The “Gugak Artist Lab” initiative, launched by the National Gugak Center, aims to support traditional artists and encourage the development of online content rooted in traditional arts.

This endeavor focuses on fostering “Gugak Creators” by offering support in video education and production. It seeks to enrich and broaden the scope of traditional arts, exploring new possibilities and expanding its reach through regional programs and the inclusion of international participants. The project emphasizes creative and sensory experiences in the digital realm, paving the way for innovative expressions of traditional art forms.

[작품소개/ Introduction]

윤동주의 “길”이라는 시를 판소리로 풀어낸 통합예술을 선보였으며, 불확실한 삶 속에서 끊임없이 고뇌하고 성찰하는 우리의 모습을 다양한 소주제로 풀어내어 공연을 관람하는 모든 이의 고민을 위로할 것이다. 소리를 듣지 못하여 시각에 의존하는 청각장애인 (농인)에게도 이러한 

메시지가 잘 전달될 수 있도록 노래가사에 맞춰 수어로 통역하고, 그것을 이미지로 만들어 

그림을 그리는 수화 퍼포먼스를 선보인다. 이를 통해 문화 사각지대에 놓인 농인들의 예술문화 향유권을 보장하고, 그들만의 문화적 배경을 존중하며 예술에 대한 이해를 공유하고자 한다.

This piece transforms the renowned poem "The Road" by poet Yun Dong-ju into a pansori performance, creating a fusion of different art forms. It aims to soothe the audience's concerns by exploring the ongoing struggles and reflections inherent in life's uncertainties, depicted through a series of sub-themes. Recognizing the importance of inclusivity, the song is also presented in sign language, synchronized with the lyrics, to reach deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences who depend on visual communication. This approach is further enhanced by a sign language performance that converts these interpretations into vivid images and drawings. The intent is to affirm the cultural rights of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, honoring their distinct cultural perspectives and fostering a shared appreciation for art.
