국립국악원 '국악아티스트랩' 사업은 

전통예술인들을 지원하고, 전통예술 기반의 온라인 콘텐츠 제작활동을

진작하기 위해 마련된 사업입니다.

권역별 선발을 통해 전통예술의 영역을 확장하고, 가능성을 탐색하며

온라인 공간에서의 감각적이고, 창조적인 활동을 위한 

영상 교육, 제작을 지원하는 '국악 크리에이터 양성' 프로젝트입니다.

The “Gugak Artist Lab” initiative, launched by the National Gugak Center, aims to support traditional artists and encourage the development of online content rooted in traditional arts.

This endeavor focuses on fostering “Gugak Creators” by offering support in video education and production. It seeks to enrich and broaden the scope of traditional arts, exploring new possibilities and expanding its reach through regional programs and the inclusion of international participants. The project emphasizes creative and sensory experiences in the digital realm, paving the way for innovative expressions of traditional art forms.

[작품소개/ Introduction]

빛이 닿지 않는 깊은 바다.어둡고 고독하다. 그 어두운 공간에서 우리는,'나를 비춰주지 않는 세상'을 탓하며 스스로를 고립시키곤 한다. 

'Deep Sea'를 통해,어두운 세상에서 스스로를 밝히며 능동적인 자아를 찾아가는 과정을 그렸다. 빛이 닿기를 기다릴 것인가,내면의 빛을 찾을 것인가.

In the deep sea, a realm untouched by light, darkness and solitude reign. In these shadowy depths, we can find ourselves alone, resenting the world for leaving us in the dark.

"Deep Sea" captures this journey of self-discovery, of seeking one's own light in the enveloping darkness. It challenges us with a fundamental question: Do we wait for light to find us, or do we ignite the light that lies within us?
