권역별 선발을 통해 전통예술의 영역을 확장하고, 가능성을 탐색하며

온라인 공간에서의 감각적이고, 창조적인 활동을 위한 

영상 교육, 제작을 지원하는 '국악 크리에이터 양성' 프로젝트입니다.

The “Gugak Artist Lab” initiative, launched by the National Gugak Center, aims to support traditional artists and encourage the development of online content rooted in traditional arts.

This endeavor focuses on fostering “Gugak Creators” by offering support in video education and production. It seeks to enrich and broaden the scope of traditional arts, exploring new possibilities and expanding its reach through regional programs and the inclusion of international participants. The project emphasizes creative and sensory experiences in the digital realm, paving the way for innovative expressions of traditional art forms.

[작품소개/ Introduction]

음악을 연주하는 것과 그림을 그리는 것은 분리돼 있으면서도 연결돼 있다.

‘관계항(relatum)’이라는 이 철학 용어는 ‘관계를 맺고 있는 항’ 을 뜻한다. 

작품이 어떤 관계를 규정하는 것이 아니라 관계를 맺는 대상이고 마찬가지로 예술작품 역시 절대적인 것이 아니라 보는 사람과의 세계를 이어준다는 점이 관계항을 완성하는 중요한 퍼즐 조각이다.

우리가 온전히 예술가로 살아낼 방법은, 자신의 작업에 매개항 혹은 중재자의 역할을 부여하여 작품 그 자체를 넘어서는 것이다.

이러한 작업은 몸과 마음이 색채로 물드니 자연스레 소리에도 변화가 생기며 나의 음악철학을 담기에 더없이 좋은 그릇이다.

Engaging in the symphony of music and the canvas of art, we embark on separate journeys intricately bound together. Delve into the realm of 'relatum,' a philosophical concept that transcends mere definition, signifying entities in an ever-evolving dance of connection.

Our creations do not confine themselves to dictating relations but serve as bridges to the world we co-create with our audience, weaving the intricate fabric of 'relatum.' To truly embrace the artist's existence, we must anoint our work as mediators, guiding it to transcend the boundaries of mere artwork.

In this alchemical process, where body and soul resonate with color, sound undergoes its metamorphosis, each note a brushstroke in the tapestry of music. Here, within this vessel, my music philosophy finds its sublime dwelling.”
