온라인 공간에서의 감각적이고, 창조적인 활동을 위한 

영상 교육, 제작을 지원하는 '국악 크리에이터 양성' 프로젝트입니다.

The “Gugak Artist Lab” initiative, launched by the National Gugak Center, aims to support traditional artists and encourage the development of online content rooted in traditional arts.

This endeavor focuses on fostering “Gugak Creators” by offering support in video education and production. It seeks to enrich and broaden the scope of traditional arts, exploring new possibilities and expanding its reach through regional programs and the inclusion of international participants. The project emphasizes creative and sensory experiences in the digital realm, paving the way for innovative expressions of traditional art forms.

[작품소개/ Introduction]

“번쩍이는 마패를 허리춤에 숨긴, 허름한 행색의 어사또가 붓을 휘두르며 힘찬 도약을 합니다. 그리고 탐관오리들에게 벼락같은 호통을, 고통받는 백성들에게는 위로를 전합니다.

백성들의 눈물로 얼룩진 호화로운 변사또 파뤼에 통쾌한 한방을 날리는 어사또의 본격 활극 액션씬! 여러분을 초대합니다.”

판소리 춘향가의 한대목 〈어사출도〉를 칠채 장단과 피아노, 라틴타악기 등을 활용하여  편곡하였습니다. 널리 알려진 춘향가의 누구나 아는 어사또 출두 장면이지만 판소리의 언어는 낯설고 어렵습니다. 소리꾼이 풀어내는 이야기를 애니메이션과 전통 춤사위, 모션그래픽 등으로 다양하게 표현하여 판소리 특유의 유머와 풍자가 대중에게 가 닿기를 기대합니다.

In this dynamic scene, a seemingly unassuming royal inspector, with a gleaming 'mapae' (a token of authority) concealed in his waistband, leaps into action, with a brush in hand. He boldly confronts corrupt officials while offering solace to the oppressed common folk. This action-filled moment captures the royal inspector delivering a powerful blow at an lavish party, tainted by the people's suffering. Join us for this exhilarating portrayal of the royal inspector's heroics.

This performance is a creative arrangement of “Here Comes the Royal Inspector,” a segment from “Chunhyangga,” a classic Korean Pansori narrative song. It has been reinterpreted with the “chilchae” rhythm, piano, and Latin percussions. Although the royal inspector's arrival is a famous scene from Chunhyangga, the language of Pansori can be complex and unfamiliar. The singer's rendition of the tale is vividly brought to life through animation, traditional dance, and motion graphics. We hope to present Pansori's distinctive humor and satire in a way that resonates with audiences everywhere.
